THE TEAM OF CINEMABRUT

The eclectic «Cinéma Brut» association is composed of directors, designers, musicians and other artists focusing throughout the year on discovering innovative films, interactive entertainment and installations. The association aims at promoting a broad variety of unique and independent films through different events. The «Cinemabrut Festival» in Mouans-Sartoux is our main event to which we dedicate the work of a year. The Festival is supported by film enthusiasts willing to bring people together around thought-provoking films and challenging perspectives.

PASCAL CADARÉ – Director of the Festival – Write to Pascal
Co-creator of the project with Pat Marcel, he is in charge of the overall coordination. He is passionate about digital creation : composer, sound engineer, webmaster, videographer...

PAT MARCEL – Head of the programme – Write to Pat Marcel
All year long he is spotting the best independent filmmakers for "Les Films Faits à la Maison” (the films made at home) TV broadcast he has been producing for the past 4 years on Canal+. In France he is considered as the expert of this kind of films.

VINCENT POMPIGNOLI – Programmer/Organiser- Write to Vincent
Vincent Pompignoli is the director of several short films screened at festivals and on TV. He is also the President of the HOUSE MOVIE association which produces and distributes a catalogue of DVDs around independent video creation.

JULIEN DAVID – Programmer – Write to Julien
As part of the Cinémabrut Festival, he offers a selection of animation films. Julien David has directed several short films since 2001. For the past 3 years, he is a tutor in animation at “Ecole des Gobelins”.
